For this project I was contracted to work in partnership with the Ohio Environmental Council to launch Ohio House Bill 429, also known as the Energy Jobs & Justice Act (EJJA) — a groundbreaking clean energy policy centered on equity, economic development, and environmental justice.

This campaign aimed to raise awareness of the newly proposed state legislation, build an online presence for the initiative, and engage community leaders, advocates, and policymakers in public sponsorship.

Working within an established brand identity, I utilized the EJJA logo to design cohesive and visually engaging graphics that reinforced the campaign’s purpose and mission.
Social media management was another key component of this project. I helped launch and manage new social media platforms for the campaign, including Twitter and Facebook, where I scheduled posts, monitored engagement, and built an initial following.

To make the complex policy accessible, I created shareable content that simplified legislative language into digestible visuals, highlighting the act's three main pillars: equity, carbon emissions reduction, and transparency and accountability. These graphics formed the foundation of a digital campaign designed to resonate with diverse audiences.

This brand awareness campaign was critical in laying the groundwork for EJJA’s advocacy efforts, using thoughtful design and strategic communication to connect with communities and amplify the act’s vision for a more just and sustainable Ohio.
