The “Repeal HB6” campaign was a response to Ohio House Bill 6, a controversial energy bill tied to one of the largest corruption scandals in Ohio’s history. In partnership with CommEN Strategies and the Ohio Environmental Council, the campaign sought to inform the public about the harmful impacts of HB6, advocate for its repeal, and push for greater transparency and accountability in Ohio’s energy policies.

Without an existing brand identity for the campaign, I had the creative freedom to develop eye-catching shareable graphics and infographics that broke down the complexities of HB6 into accessible, digestible content.
These visuals, designed for social media’s standard square format, were instrumental in driving awareness and engagement.

Beyond design work, I played an active role in maintaining the campaign’s digital presence by posting articles, engaging with audiences, and amplifying the campaign’s message across social media platforms. This project showcased how effective design and strategic online engagement can empower communities to take action on critical policy issues and demand accountability.

A centerpiece of the campaign was the livestream series “Let’s Talk About HB6”, featuring panel discussions with policymakers and experts. I created promotional flyers and graphics to support each event, designed to grab attention and encourage participation. Additionally, I set up and managed Facebook event pages to promote the livestreams, ensuring maximum visibility and reach.
