For this project, I worked with Ohio Student Association Cleveland (OSA Cleveland) and Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing (CLASH) to organize and promote Rock the Lead Out, a fundraising event aimed at supporting CLASH’s lead-safe housing initiative.
The event, held at Mahall's 20 Lanes in Lakewood, Ohio, featured live music, art, raffles, tarot card readings, and more, all to raise funds for CLASH’s mission.

The funds raised supported CLASH’s efforts to pass local legislation that requires all rental properties and daycare centers built before 1978 to be tested for lead hazards and certified as "Lead Safe" by 2021, ensuring a safer environment for Cleveland’s children.
As the communications lead for the event, I was responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy, creating all promotional materials, and managing the distribution across multiple platforms.

This included designing custom-sized flyers, easy to share digital graphics for both social media posts and stories, as well as a Facebook event page.

In addition to marketing and design, I captured the energy of the event through photography, documenting the fundraiser to further promote CLASH’s mission and its success.
